WITH its stunning views over Cronulla's beaches, Seaglass Restaurant at Cronulla RSL is planning a New Year's Eve event with a beach party theme.
Guests, who will be encouraged to wear colourful beach attire, can look forward to a three-course dinner for $110 per person that includes unlimited drinks (but not including cocktails and spirits) from 7pm to midnight.
The menu is still being planned, but sampling the cuisine at Seaglass is as easy as calling in for lunch or dinner to enjoy the current special summer menus.
Lunch is served at Seaglass from Wednesdays to Sundays, and dinner from Wednesdays to Saturdays.
The menus offer great value: $32 for two courses or $40 for three courses on weekdays, and $45 or $55 at weekends.
Entrees in both menus include sweetcorn and basil soup (served warm or chilled) and low fat chicken salad cannelloni of Yamba prawn, spinach and eggplant with tomato and rice salad recipe chilli.
One entree only on weekends is a salad of pickled beetroot with soft-boiled egg, pancetta and a rosemary mayonnaise.
Mains in both include beer-battered flathead fillets and green pea salad barbecued chermoula chicken with sweetcorn, piri piri and coriander salsa.
Only on the weekday menu is a seafood spaghettini with salmon, scallops, prawnsvongole. A kid's menu is priced from $14.
